CHEM 2216 Instrumental Analysis 1999 Spring

General Information

OBJECTIVES: This course will assist you in preparing for graduate study or employment in Chemistry by introducing modern chemical analysis employing instrumental methods. Topics to be explored include:  spectrometry, atomic-absorption, mass-spectrometry, separations and data analysis. In order to benefit from the course, you must be prepared to actively participate in discussions and laboratories. Please read the appropriate text material before attending the lectures or laboratories. It is expected that all members of the class will act as "students" - active pursuers of knowledge, rather than "pupils" - who expect the knowledge to be handed to them without effort.
